Mt Colah Concrete Pool with Glass Feature

The high-set, 9m x 3.5m pool has myriad purposes – it’s used for exercise, family fun, entertaining and as a ‘water feature’ for the contemporary home. A pale blue quartz interior is combined with a darker blue waterline tile, and a stack stone external feature wall was built on the street-facing facade of the pool.

The pool sits completely out of the ground, with piers lifting the pool approximately 2m above existing ground level to match the patio height. And to ensure consistency with the floor of the alfresco area, natural stone was used for the coping and sundeck.

As the home enjoys eagle’s nest views from the outdoor living space, glass fencing and a glass top side wall was installed to make sure these views weren’t impacted. At night, underwater lighting creates a vibrant oasis of light.

The 1.1m – 1.8m pool also features a pressure pool cleaner, sand filter with matching pump and automatic chlorine and pH sensor dosing system.
