Castle Hill Concrete Pool and Raised Spa with Feature Wall

Taking into consideration the small site, restricted access and Council regulations on distances from boundaries, a corner-positioned pool adjoining spa was the best solution for this Sydney home. The pool was designed to enhance the rear garden and be visible from the home’s indoor and outdoor living spaces.

A 6m x 6m geometrically shaped, 1m – 1.7m deep pool was created to fit ‘neatly’ into the corner location. The pool, spa and water feature have been fully tiled in vivid blue hues, which provides a perfect contrast to the red-coloured fence and natural stone walls and coping.

Lighting is a vital part of the swimming pool and surrounding landscaping, with two underwater lights at the side of the pool, one highlighting the water feature at the absolute ‘corner’ of the pool, and another in the spa. Up lights in the garden and along the coping further enhance the poolscape and garden. To ensure the view of the pool and garden isn’t obstructed, glass fencing was installed.

Pool equipment includes a cartridge filter and matching pump, pressure pool cleaner, chorine and pH sensor dosing system and gas heater. The spa features several jets plus an air blower.
